:p Guess I'll just have to try to beef up the difficulty a bit.

Scoreboard:
1 - 54 Points Vuzman
2 - 35 Points Norlander
2 - 25 Points Torellion
4 - 21 Points Laluu
5 - 10 Points Boddin

No decision is so fine as to not bind us to its consequences.
No consequence is so unexpected as to absolve us of our decisions.

The Itaipu dam on the Paraná River located on the border between Brazil and Paraguay.

Wikipedia says it's the largest operational hydroelectric power plant in the world, but I don't see how it can be that as the Chinese Three Gorges Dam has a larger generating capacity (and is going to be even bigger).

It has been given several awards, e.g. it was chosen by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World

Edit: Hey, I was writing my answer when you gave that clue!smiley

Correct, but your answer is timed 22 minutes after my clue.

It says that it is the largest operational hydroelectric power plant in the world, except for the Chinese Three Gorges Dam, that has a larger generating capacity. But you are correct enough.

Scoreboard:
1 - 58 Points Vuzman
2 - 35 Points Norlander
2 - 25 Points Torellion
4 - 21 Points Laluu
5 - 10 Points Boddin
6 - 5 Points OKJones
7 - 4 Points Spiff

Yes, that's because I'm at work, and only do this while my stuff is compiling or something like that... smiley
