Been thinking about this for some time, a quiz on random factoids that show up from reading random wiki articles, i.e. a pseudo online pub quiz without the beer prizes. Once the correct answer is given I'll find another question.

First question: Most of the highest viewed videos on YouTube are of recent origin, but some things created long ago in another millennium are still popular. Can you link the video, which was created prior to the 21st Century, with the most views on YouTube?

From Wikipedia:
The term factoid can in common usage mean either a false or spurious statement presented as a fact, as well as (according to Merriam Webster and the Oxford English Dictionary) a true, if brief or trivial item of news or information. The term was coined originally in 1973 as a neologism by American writer Norman Mailer to mean a "piece of information that becomes accepted as a fact even though it’s not actually true, or an invented fact believed to be true because it appears in print."...On occasion, a writer will coin a fine neologism that spreads quickly but then changes meaning. Since its creation in 1973 the term has evolved from its original meaning, in common usage, and has assumed other meanings, particularly being used to describe a brief or trivial item of news or information. So it is a factoid that "factoid" means something that is true.

Correct.

And someone write a script for vuzman so he sees "a quiz on random brief or trivial items of news or information." instead of factoid - since he apparently loves long-winded meaningssmiley

New question, requires a little bit of detective work:
Two of the greatest film directors of the past century are Quentin Tarantino and Alfred Hitchcock. An actor, who appeared in a Quentin Tarantino movie, and another actor, who starred in an Alfred Hitchcock film, appeared together in a film that won the Academy Award for Best Picture! Name the actors and the academy award winning film.

Hint 1:

The actor who appeared in a Tarantino film, is not well known by name, but his face is recognizable by many television viewers, since he has appeared in many great, popular, and cult TV series over the years (e.g. Deadwood, Angel, and Roswell to name a few).

The actor who starred in a Hitchcock film is considered one of the greatest classical actors of all time.

Dennis Christopher stars in Django Unchained by Tarantino
John Gielgud stars in Secret Agent by Hitchcock
Both star in Chariots of Fire, which won the Best Picture Oscar in 1982

Correct! I had hoped to stump people on this one, searching in vain through the cast list of Godfather part II.

Next one: Who is this, and why is he still famous?

Charles Ponzi (March 3, 1882 – January 18, 1949) was an Italian businessman and con artist in the U.S. and Canada. His aliases include Charles Ponci, Carlo and Charles P. Bianchi. Born and raised in Italy, he became known in the early 1920s as a swindler in North America for his money-making scheme. He promised clients a 50% profit within 45 days, or 100% profit within 90 days, by buying discounted postal reply coupons in other countries and redeeming them at face value in the United States as a form of arbitrage. In reality, Ponzi was paying early investors using the investments of later investors, a practice known as "robbing Peter to pay Paul." While this swindle predated Ponzi by several years, it became so identified with him that it now bears his name (Ponzi scheme). His scheme ran for over a year before it collapsed, costing his "investors" $20 million.

Hint 1: Its a normal residential neighborhood, but the house is a designated historic site today. What took place here once upon a time has since come to affected many of us across the globe.
