Interesting article and interesting point - but the method and premise seems flawed.
Everyone feels sorry for Ramsey. That's why you won't find so many articles and posts that use those exact words - it's a given. If you look at the screengrabs from google shown in the article, you'll find that most of the results for "feel sorry for Shawcross" actually also say that they feel sorry for Ramsey, but not in those exact words.

Are you sure? Have you read the fivehundredandalot articles? I think it points to Shawcross being the victim here, and that's just crazy. I have read a lot of articles about the incident and most of them have Shawcross as the victim, Wenger the whinger (surprise, surprise), and some even suggest Ramsey pulling out of the tackle WTF? The guy getting to the ball first pulling out? Stan Collymore (wife beater) wants Arsene to apologize to Shawcross etc. etc. The british media is absolutely insane.
