Looking at the costume I guessed it was from a Conan movie (Conan the Destroyer) and the cast revealed Wilt Chamberlain as Bombaata. Not that I knew of Bombaata as I haven't seen the movie nor could I remember this Wilt fellow. Looking at Wilts wiki page reveals he was a basket legend. |

Wilt was a fucking legend, most likely the best basketball player of all time, and one of the greatest athletes of all time - if not the greatest athlete of all time.
He is the only one to score 100 pts in a NBA match. He averaged over 50 pts in a season, something nobody else has ever done. His 50 pts or more record is 118 games, # 2 on that list (Michael Jordan) sits with 31. He also leads in most durability stats, playing almost every game during his whole career, and in 8 different seasons being the player who played the most minutes.
He excelled at any sport he tried, winning high jump, shot put and sprint competitions that he entered - just to see if he could.
